1) PIENSA SIN LIMITES (no limit to what you can say)
According to an article in El Nuevo Dia, entitled "CON 'FIEBRE' EN LOS DEDOS" (Fevered Fingers), the popularity of text messaging via cell phones has exploded on the island of Puerto Rico. 14-17 year olds are the most aggressive users of texting - averaging 150 texts per day. The 18-24 group sends 100 messages, while those over 35 average 20 per day. In the US, the numbers are about 1/2 for each group - except for the 14-17 year olds, who only slightly trail their puertorican counterparts. 2) TEXTING ABBREVIATIONS USED IN PUERTO RICO A2 = ADIOS (goodbye)B = BESO (a kiss)
